📖 Bible Passage:
Luke 10:38–42
💡 Memory Verse:
“Mary has chosen what is better.” — Luke 10:42

🕊️ Story / Reflection:
One day, Jesus visited two sisters named Mary and Martha.
Martha was very busy — she wanted everything to be perfect for Jesus. She cooked, cleaned, and moved around quickly!
But Mary did something different. She sat down quietly at Jesus’ feet and listened to Him.
Martha became upset and said, “Jesus, tell Mary to help me!”
But Jesus smiled and said, “Martha, you are worried about many things, but Mary has chosen the better part. ”Jesus wanted Martha to understand that spending time with Him is more important than being busy.
Mary chose to listen and learn from Jesus — and that made Him happy!
💖 Lesson:
God loves it when I take time to sit with Him, listen, and talk to Him.
Spending time with Jesus is the better part of my day.
🙏 Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Help me always to choose You first.
Teach me to listen to Your voice and love Your Word every day.
Amen.
