In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…”Philippians 2:5–8

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Jesus is the King of kings, yet He chose to come as a humble servant. He didn’t demand attention, fame, or special treatment. Instead, He washed His disciples’ feet, helped others quietly, and obeyed God even when it was hard.

Imagine a king taking off his crown just to sit with a child and help them tie their shoelaces. That’s how Jesus treats us with gentle love and humility. He wants us to treat others the same way: not thinking we are better, but choosing kindness, respect, and gentleness.

True greatness comes from humility

💡 Lesson:

Humility means choosing to serve others, speak kindly, and put others first—just like Jesus.

🙏 Prayer:

Dear Jesus, help me to be humble like You. Teach me to be gentle, kind, and willing to serve others. Help my words and actions show Your love. Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):

Trace your hands on paper, cut them out, and glue them around a big heart. Write:

“I use my hands to serve like Jesus.”

colour and decorate.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):

Write or discuss:

  • What does humility look like at home or school?
  • When was a time you chose to serve instead of being first?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):

Do one hidden act of kindness today—no one should know it was you.

(Like Jesus, who served without seeking attention.)

🌸 Closing Thought:

A humble heart is a heart like Jesus. When you choose humility, you shine His love everywhere you go.
