📖 Bible Verse:
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” — Ephesians 6:1

🕊️ Story / Reflection:
Tolu’s mom called from the kitchen, “Tolu, please help me pack up your toys.”
Tolu wanted to keep playing with his cars. But then he remembered something his Sunday school teacher said: “When you obey quickly, you make God happy.”
So he stood up, packed his toys neatly, and went to help his mom. His mom smiled and said, “Thank you, my good helper.”
At that moment, Tolu felt a warm joy in his heart. He realised that obeying his parents was not just about listening — it was about showing love to God too!
💡 Lesson:
When I obey my parents, I show love and respect to them and to God. Obedience makes God happy and brings peace to my heart.
🙏 Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for my parents. Please help me to listen, respect, and obey them with a joyful heart.
I want to please You in all that I do in Jesus' name. Amen
🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a picture of yourself helping your parents — maybe cleaning your room, setting the table, or picking up toys.
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write one thing your parents told you to do recently. Did you obey? How did it make you feel afterwards?
🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Think of one way you can obey your parents today without being told twice. Then do it joyfully as a way to honour God.
🌸 Closing Thought:
Obeying your parents is choosing the better part — the way that makes God smile.
