🕊️ Story / Reflection
God gives children parents and teachers to guide, teach, protect, and help them grow.
Being respectful means listening carefully, speaking politely, obeying instructions, and showing kindness through our attitude and actions.
Jesus Himself showed respect and obedience while He was growing up.
He listened to His earthly parents and honoured them with love and humility.
Sometimes children may not always feel like obeying or listening.
But respect is not only for when we agree or feel happy—it is part of having godly character. Respect can look like:
When we respect parents and teachers, we honour God too.
God is pleased when children show obedience, humility, and respect from the heart.
đź’ˇ Lesson
Respecting parents and teachers honours God.
🙏 Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You for the parents and teachers You have placed in my life.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)Respect Challenge
This week:
Before responding to adults, ask yourself: “Am I speaking with respect?”
🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment
Sit quietly and place your hands together.
Think about your parents, teachers, and the people who care for you.
Now softly say:“Jesus, help me show respect with my words and actions.”
Pause quietly for a moment.
Think of one way you can show kindness, obedience, or gratitude today.
Rest peacefully and remember that showing respect is one way we honour God.
