๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse
โ€œDo not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.โ€ โ€”  Galatians 6:7

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Story / Reflection

There were two brothers โ€” Jacob and Esau.

One day, Esau came home very tired and hungry. Jacob had made some stew, and Esau wanted it immediately.

Jacob said, โ€œI will give you some food if you give me your birthright.โ€

A birthright was very special โ€” it was a blessing and an inheritance meant for the firstborn son.

Esau was so hungry that he made a quick decision. He said yes and gave up something very important just for a bowl of food.

Later, he realised that his choice had serious consequences.

Jacob also made wrong choices later by tricking his father to get the blessing. That choice caused pain and broken relationships in the family.

This story teaches us something important โ€” every choice we make matters.

Some choices bring good results.

Some choices bring regret.

God wants us to slow down, think, and choose what is right.

๐Ÿ’ก Lesson

My choices matter, and they can bring good or bad results.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer

Dear God,

Help me to make wise choices.

When I feel tempted or rushed, help me to pause and think.

Guide me to always choose what is right.

Amen.

๐ŸŽจ Activity (Ages 3โ€“6)

  • Show simple pictures (sharing vs. fighting, helping vs. ignoring).
  • Let children sort them into โ€œGood Choicesโ€ and โ€œNot Good Choices.โ€

Say: โ€œGood choices make good results.โ€

โœ๏ธ Reflection (Ages 7โ€“9)

Write or Discuss:

  1. What choice did Esau make?
  2. What happened because of his choice?
  3. Why is it important to think before making a decision?

Encourage thoughtful decision-making.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Challenge (Ages 10โ€“12)Wise Choices Challenge

Today, before making a decision:

  • Pause
  • Think: โ€œIs this the right choice?โ€
  • Ask God to help you choose wisely

Remember: small choices can have big consequences.

๐ŸŒฟ Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine standing at a place where you must choose a path.

One path looks easy but is not right.

The other path is right but may be harder.

Jesus stands beside you and gently says:

โ€œChoose what is right โ€” I am with you.โ€

Take a step toward the right path and feel His guidance.
