đź“– Bible Verse
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.” — Proverbs 10:9

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Sometimes doing the right thing is not the easiest thing.

It may be easier to tell a lie instead of admitting the truth.

It may feel easier to copy someone’s work instead of doing your own.

It may seem easier to join others in doing wrong so you won’t feel left out.

But God wants us to choose what is right, even when it is difficult.

Jesus always chose to do what pleased God. He was kind, honest, obedient, and loving—even when it was hard.

Doing the right thing may not always be popular or easy at first, but it brings peace, joy, and honour to God.

Good character grows when we make right choices again and again.

And the wonderful thing is this: we are never alone.

God helps us choose what is right through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

Every good choice makes us stronger on the inside.

đź’ˇ Lesson

Doing what is right is more important than doing what is easy.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Help me choose what is right, even when it is hard.

Give me courage to obey You and make good decisions.

Teach me to follow Jesus in my words, actions, and choices.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)“Right Choice Path” Game

  • Make two simple paths on the floor:
    • “Easy but Wrong”
    • “Right Choice”

Read simple situations and let children walk to the correct path. Examples:

  • Telling the truth
  • Sharing toys
  • Taking something without asking
  • Helping someone

Say together:“I choose what is right!”

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Discuss:

  1. Why can doing the right thing sometimes feel hard?
  2. What are some right choices children can make?
  3. How does God help us make good decisions?
  4. How do you feel after choosing what is right?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)Right Choice Challenge

This week:

  • Tell the truth even when it is difficult
  • Choose kindness even if others are not kind
  • Do the right thing even when nobody notices

Before making a choice, ask yourself:“Would this choice make Jesus happy?”

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Sit quietly and place your hands in your lap.Think about a time when it was hard to do the right thing.

Now imagine Jesus sitting beside you and gently holding your hand.

Say softly:“Jesus, help me choose what is right.”

Sit quietly for a moment and remember that Jesus will always help you make good choices.
