Do Everything in Love

📖 Bible Verse: “And everything you do must be done with love” – 1 Corinthians 16:14

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Sarah loved helping in her home, but sometimes she only did chores when she felt like it. One morning, her mom asked her to help set the table. Sarah sighed loudly and dragged her feet as she did it. Afterwards, her mom gently said, “Thank you, Sarah. But remember, what truly matters isn’t just what we do, but the heart we do it with.”

That day, Sarah learned something important: love turns simple actions into something beautiful. Love makes kindness sweeter.

Love makes helping joyful.

Love makes ordinary things meaningful. 

When we choose love, everything we do becomes a way to show Jesus to others.

Love is not just a feeling; it's something we show in everything we do.

💡 Lesson:

Love is not just words; it’s an action and an attitude. God wants us to treat others with love in our behaviour, our speech, and even in small tasks. When we do things in love, we reflect the love of Jesus.

🙏 Prayer:

Dear Jesus,

Help me do everything with love today.

Fill my heart with kindness, patience, and joy.

Let my actions show Your love to everyone around me.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):

“Love Hands Craft”

• Trace both hands on paper.
• Write or draw one loving action on each finger (share toys, help mum, say kind words, etc.).
• Decorate with colours.
  Say to yourself: “These are my love hands, I will use them always!”

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):

Write down or talk about:

• Three ways you can show love at home
• Two ways you can show love at school
• One way you can show love to someone who is not your friend

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):

Choose one person today and bless them intentionally without expecting anything back.

Examples:

• Help a classmate quietly
• Do a chore before being asked
• Write a short encouraging note
  Do it secretly if possible. Love doesn’t show off.
