📖 Bible Verse
“Give us today our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11

🕊️ Story / Reflection

When Jesus taught us to pray, He included a simple but powerful request:

“Give us today our daily bread.” Bread here doesn’t only mean food. It represents everything we need each day — food, strength, help, wisdom, protection, and even love.

God cares about your daily needs.

He cares if you are hungry.

He cares if you feel tired.

He cares if you need help in school.

He cares about everything that concerns you.

Jesus teaches us that we can come to God and ask for what we need — not just big things, but even small everyday things.

And just like a loving Father provides for His children, God provides for you.

💡 Lesson

I can ask God for what I need, and He cares for me.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for taking care of me every day.

Please give me what I need — strength, help, and wisdom.

Help me trust You to provide for me.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)

  • Draw a basket on paper.
  • Inside the basket, the child draw:
  • Food 🍎
  • A heart ❤️ (love)
  • A book 📖 (learning)
  • A smile 😊 (joy)

God provides all these things for us.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Discuss:

  1. What are some things you need every day?
  2. What is something you can ask God for today?
  3. Why is it important to trust God for our needs?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

Today:

  • Write down 3 things you need help with.
  • Pray about them.
  • At the end of the day, reflect on how God helped you.

Learn to depend on God daily — not just sometimes.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine Jesus handing you a small basket.

Inside it are the things you need for today.

He smiles and says,

“I will take care of you.”

Sit quietly and thank Him for providing for you.
