πŸ“– Bible Verse

β€œThis is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
 β€” Psalm 118:24

πŸ•ŠοΈ Story / Reflection

Some days feel very exciting, and other days feel simple and quiet. We wake up, eat, learn, play, and rest. These ordinary days may not feel special, but they are still gifts from God.

God is with us on ordinary days just as much as on exciting ones. He gives us strength to get through our routines and peace in the little moments.

When we thank God on ordinary days, we learn to see His goodness everywhere.

Every day matters to God, and every day is worth thanking Him for.

πŸ’‘ Lesson

I can thank God on ordinary days, not just special ones.

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear God,
 Thank You for today.
Thank You for the simple things in my day.
Help me to see Your goodness in every moment.
 Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)
At bedtime, say one thing you did today and say:
 β€œThank You, God, for today.”

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Answer or write:

  • What happened today that felt ordinary?
  • What good thing can you thank God for today?
  • How can you remember to be thankful every day?

πŸ•―οΈ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

Before going to bed tonight, write or say three ordinary things you are thankful for today.

🀍 Sit with Jesus Moment

Sit quietly and think about your day from morning until now.
Thank Jesus for being with you in every moment.
