Have you ever been in a crowded place where many children were playing, and suddenly you heard someone call your name? Immediately, you knew they were calling you.
That is how God relates to us.
God doesn’t just see a crowd of children — He sees you.
He knows your name, your smile, your voice, your thoughts, and everything about you.
When God calls your name, it means you are important to Him. You are not forgotten. You are not lost in the crowd. You belong to Him, and He watches over you with love.
Even when you feel unnoticed by others, God still calls you by name and says,
“You are Mine.”
I am important to God.
He knows my name, and I belong to Him.
Dear God,
Thank You for knowing my name and loving me personally.
Help me to remember that I am Yours and never alone.
When I feel afraid or forgotten, remind me that You are always calling me.
Amen.
Write your name in big bold letters on paper.
How does it make you feel that God knows your name?
All week, say this aloud every morning:
“God knows my name. I belong to Him. I am never forgotten.”
Close your eyes quietly.
“Imagine Jesus standing in front of you…
He is smiling…
He calls your name gently…
He says, ‘You are Mine. I love you.’
Sit and listen to Him call your name again…
