Sometimes we feel happy. Sometimes we feel sad, angry, scared, or confused. God made our hearts, and He understands every feeling we have.
When you cry, God sees your tears.
When you are afraid, God listens.
When you are excited or joyful, God smiles with you.
God does not ignore your feelings—He cares deeply about them and invites you to talk to Him about everything in your heart.
God cares about:
I can tell God how I feel anytime, and He will listen.
Dear God,
Thank You for caring about my feelings.
Thank You that I can talk to You about everything.
Help me remember that You always listen and love me.
Amen.
Draw simple faces: happy, sad, angry, scared.
This week, practice naming your feelings.
Each day, tell God one feeling you experienced and ask Him to help you with it. Remember: Feelings are not wrong—God wants to hear about them.
Sit quietly and place your hand on your heart.
Take a slow breath in and out.
Silently tell Jesus how you feel right now.
Listen in the quiet and remember:
Jesus cares about your feelings.
