God Is Proud of Me

📖 Bible Verse
“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.” — Psalm 147:11

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Have you ever done something good — like telling the truth, helping a friend, or trying your best — and someone said, “I’m proud of you”?It makes your heart feel warm inside.

God feels joy when you choose what is right. When you tell the truth, even if it’s hard… when you are kind… when you try again after failing… God delights in you.

He is not proud because you are perfect.

He is proud because you are growing.

Just like a loving parent smiles when their child learns something new, God smiles when you are learning to love, obey, and trust Him.

You are His child — and He rejoices over you.

💡 Lesson

God delights in me when I choose what is right and trust Him.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for loving me and delighting in me.

Help me to choose what is right and to always try my best.

May my actions make You smile.

Amen.

• Draw a big smiling sun above you and write:
  “God delights in me!”

Discuss or write:

1. What is something good you did this week?
2. How did you feel after doing it?
3. Why do you think God delights in good choices?

This weekend, 

• Choose one area to grow (kindness, honesty, responsibility).
• At the end of each day, reflect:
  Did my choices reflect God’s love today?

Remember: Growth makes God smile.

Close your eyes quietly.

Imagine Jesus standing in front of you.

He is smiling warmly.

He says,

“I see you trying. I see your heart. I am pleased with you.”

Sit in that smile for a moment.
