“But God has decided where each different part of our body should be.” — 1 Corinthians 12:18

Have you ever looked at someone else and thought, “I wish I could be like them”?
Maybe they run faster, draw better, or understand math easily. But guess what? God didn’t make you to be like everyone else; He made you to be you.
Just like a body has different parts that all do important jobs, God designed every person with a unique purpose. Your smile, your voice, your gifts, your personality, none of it is random.
God placed each part of you exactly where He wanted it to be. So instead of comparing yourself to others, celebrate the amazing way God made you. Your uniqueness is His beautiful idea!
God made you wonderfully different on purpose. You don’t have to be like anyone else you are special in His eyes!
I don’t need to compare myself to others. God made me special and unique on purpose.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for making me wonderfully unique.
Help me celebrate who I am instead of comparing myself to others.
Show me how to use the gifts You placed in me to honour You.
Amen.
Draw a picture of yourself doing something you love; singing, running, dancing, building, anything!
Tell a grown-up why this activity makes you special.
Write down three things that make you unique:
💛 A talent
💛 A personality trait
💛 Something you enjoy doing
Thank God for each one.
Stop one moment of comparison today.
When you catch yourself thinking “I wish I were like them,” instead say:
“God made me on purpose. I will celebrate who I am.” Then encourage someone else by pointing out their unique gift.
You don’t have to be like anyone else. You were handcrafted by God with purpose, love, and intention. Your uniqueness is a gift to the world!
