)🕊️ Story / Reflection:
During art class, everyone was making cards for Mother’s Day. Ada’s card didn’t look as fancy as her friends’. The colours were a bit messy, and the writing wasn’t perfect. But she made it with love and prayed, “God, please help Mommy feel my love when she sees this. ”When Ada gave her mom the card, her mom’s eyes filled with tears. “This is the most beautiful card ever,” she said.
God is just like that! He doesn’t judge us by how we look or what others think of us. He sees our heart — our love, honesty, and kindness. What matters most to Him is what’s inside, not the outside.
💡 Lesson:
God cares about my heart more than how I look. I want to keep my heart clean, kind, and full of love.
🙏 Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for seeing my heart.
Help me to keep it pure and loving toward You and others.
Teach me to care more about being good on the inside than just looking good on the outside.
Amen.
🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a big heart and fill it with things that show love — like a smile, helping hands, or a hug.
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write down three things that make a heart beautiful to God (like being kind, truthful, or forgiving).
🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Take time today to ask God to help you have a heart that pleases Him. Think before you act — ask yourself, “Is this showing God’s love?”
Closing Thought:
God doesn’t look at the outside — He sees your heart. Keep your heart full of love, and you’ll always make Him smile.
