📖 Bible Verse
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.’” — Gospel of Matthew 6:9

🕊️ Story / Reflection
When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, He said, “Holy is Your name.”
The word holy means special, pure, and worthy of honour.
God’s name is not like any other name. It reminds us that God is powerful, loving, and perfect.
When we pray, we don’t only ask God for things. We also honour Him. We tell Him how wonderful He is. We thank Him for who He is — our Creator, our Father, our Helper, and our King.
Honouring God means speaking about Him with respect and love. It means remembering that He is great and worthy of praise.
When we say “Holy is Your name,” we are telling God that we recognise how amazing He is.
💡 Lesson
God is holy, and I can honour Him with my words and my heart.
🙏 Prayer
Dear God,
Your name is holy and wonderful.
Thank You for being loving, powerful, and good.
Help me always honour You with my words and actions.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)
Take a sheet of paper and write “God Is Wonderful!” at the top.
Draw pictures of things that remind you of God’s greatness — the sun, trees, animals, family, or hearts.
Praising God means noticing the beautiful things He made.
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)
Discuss or write:
  1. What does the word holy mean to you?
  2. What are some wonderful things about God?
  3. How can we honour God in our daily lives?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)
Today, pray without asking God for anything. Instead, spend time praising Him for who He is.
For example:
  • God, You are loving.
  • God, You are powerful.
  • God, You are faithful.
Practice honouring God with your words.
🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment
Close your eyes and take a slow breath.
Imagine standing in a beautiful place filled with light and peace.
Whisper:
“Holy is Your name, God.”
Sit quietly for a moment and think about how wonderful God is.
