I Am Special to God

“Since you are precious and honoured in my sight, and because I love you…”

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Imagine a box full of beautiful stones. They all look nice, but one catches your eye, you pick it up and keep it close. Not because it is the biggest, but because it is special to you.

That is how God sees you.

Out of everyone in the world, God knows your name, your voice, and your heart. 

You are not forgotten or ignored. You are precious, important, and deeply loved by God.

💡 Lesson

• God made me on purpose
• God knows me by name
• I am precious and special to God

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for loving me and calling me special.

Help me remember that I am precious in Your eyes,

even when I feel small or different.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)

Draw or cut out a big heart

• Write your name inside
• And say, “I am special to God”

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Ask and write or discuss:

• What does it mean to be special to God?
• Name one thing you like about how God made you.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

Speak kindly about yourself every day

• When you feel left out or unsure, whisper:
  “I am special and loved by God.”
• Look for one way to remind someone else they are special too.

🤍 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes.

Take three slow breaths.

Imagine Jesus smiling at you and saying your name.

Sit quietly and listen as He says:

“You are special to Me.”
