📖 Bible Verse

“Be kind and compassionate to one another.”
Ephesians 4:32a

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Kindness means choosing to do good to others with our words and actions.

Sometimes it’s easy to be kind, like when we’re playing with friends.

Other times it can feel hard, especially when someone is unkind to us.

God shows us kindness every day. He loves us, forgives us, and cares for us even when we make mistakes.

Because God loves us so much, He helps our hearts learn how to be kind to others, too.

💡 Lesson

Because God loves me:

  • I can use kind words
  • I can share
  • I can help others
  • I can forgive

God’s love helps me choose kindness.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for loving me so much.

Please help me to be kind like You.

Help my words and actions show Your love.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)

  • Trace your hands on paper.
  • On each finger, name or draw a kind action (helping, sharing, smiling)
  • Say together: “I can be kind because God loves me.”

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

  • What is one kind thing someone did for you recently?
  • How did it make you feel?
  • Write or draw one kind thing you will do today.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

Practice intentional kindness this week.

Choose one person each day to show kindness to—especially when it’s not easy.

Ask God to help you respond with love, not anger.

🤍 Sit with Jesus Moment

Sit quietly and place your hand on your heart.

Take a slow breath in and out.

Imagine Jesus smiling at you and saying:

“My love helps you be kind.”

Rest in His love for a moment.
