I Can Talk to God Anytime

Have you ever needed someone, but they were busy? Or maybe you wanted to talk, but it wasn’t the “right time”?
With God, there is always a right time.
You can talk to Him in the morning before school.
You can talk to Him in the middle of your day.
You can talk to Him before you sleep.
You can even whisper a prayer quietly in your heart.
God is never too busy.
He never says, “Come back later.”
He is always near.
You don’t need to wait for church.
You don’t need to wait for bedtime.
You don’t need perfect words.
Anytime is the right time to talk to God.
💡 Lesson
I can talk to God anytime, anywhere.
🙏 Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You that You are always near.
Help me remember I can talk to You at any time — when I’m happy, worried, or confused.
Thank You for always listening.
Amen.
🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)
- Draw a big circle like a clock.
- Inside, draw pictures of morning, school time, playtime, and bedtime.
- Say together:
“I can talk to God anytime!”
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)Ask:
- When do you usually pray?
- Can you think of a new time you could talk to God?
- Why do you think God is always ready to listen?
🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)
Today, pray at three different times:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Night
Keep each prayer simple and honest.
Notice how it feels to include God in your whole day.
🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment
Close your eyes and take a slow breath.
Imagine Jesus walking beside you throughout your day — at school, at home, while playing.
He smiles and says,
“You can talk to Me anytime.”
Sit quietly and tell Him one thing about today.
