🕊️ Story / Reflection
Trust means believing that someone will take good care of you. When a child holds an adult’s hand while crossing the road, they trust that they will be kept safe.
Sometimes things don’t go the way we want. A toy breaks. A friend doesn’t play nicely. We feel scared, worried, or unsure.
Jesus understands those feelings. When He was on earth, people came to Him with their problems, their fears, and their questions. And Jesus helped them because He cares.
Trusting Jesus means believing that He loves us, He knows what is best for us, and He will never leave us alone.
Even when we don’t understand what is happening, we can hold Jesus’ hand and trust Him to lead us.
Just like a child trusts a loving parent, we can trust Jesus with our hearts.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You because You love me and care for me.
Help me to trust You when I am happy and when I am afraid.

- Draw a small hand holding a bigger hand.
- Write: “Jesus, I trust You.”
- Talk with the child about times they can trust Jesus (at school, at home, at night).

Ask and discuss or write:
- What does it mean to trust someone?
- Is there something you need to trust Jesus with today?
- How does knowing Jesus loves you help you trust Him?

Trust Jesus This Week
- Each day, write one worry or fear.
- Pray and give it to Jesus.
- At the end of the week, share how trusting Jesus made you feel.
🌿 Sit With Jesus Moment
Sit quietly and take a deep breath.
Imagine Jesus sitting beside you. Tell Him one thing that makes you feel worried.
Now imagine giving that worry to Him. Feel His peace fill your heart.
Jesus can be trusted always
