📖 Bible Verse
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”
— Psalm 56:3

Sometimes, fear comes quietly. Other times, it feels loud like thunder in our hearts. One might feel afraid of the dark, a bad dream, a test, or being alone.
The Bible tells us about a time when Jesus’ friends were very afraid. A big storm came while they were in a boat, and the waves were strong. But Jesus stood up and said, “Peace, be still.” The storm stopped, and everything became calm.
Just like He calmed the storm, Jesus calms our hearts when we are afraid. He is always with us, even when fear tries to make us feel alone.
Jesus is stronger than our fears.
When we feel afraid, Jesus is with us.
We can trust Him to bring peace to our hearts.
Dear Jesus,
Sometimes I feel afraid.
Thank You for being with me and keeping me safe.
Please calm my heart and help me feel peaceful.
Amen.
Draw a picture of a calm sea or sky.
Talk about how Jesus brings calm and peace.
Say together: “Jesus calms my fears.”
What are some things that make you feel afraid?
How does it help to know Jesus is with you?
Write or say one fear you can give to Jesus today.
When you feel afraid this week, pause and pray instead of running away.
Say, “Jesus, please help me.”
Choose trust over fear.
Sit quietly and take a slow breath.
Imagine Jesus speaking peace to your heart.
Rest in His calm and loving presence.
