Jesus Came to Save the World

📖 Bible Verse
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” — John 3:17 (NIV)

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Jesus came into the world because people needed help.

We all make wrong choices sometimes. 

We can be selfish, unkind, or disobedient. 

Sin separates us from God. But God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to rescue us.

Jesus did not come to punish people. He came to save them.

He showed love to people, forgave them, and taught them about God. 

Later, Jesus died on the cross and came back to life so that we could be close to God again.

Jesus came for everyone — children, adults, rich people, poor people, people from every country, and every family.

That means Jesus came for you too.

💡 Lesson

Jesus came to save me because God loves me.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for coming to save the world.

Thank You for loving me and helping me come close to God.

Help me to trust You and follow You every day.

Amen.

• Draw or cut out a circle for the earth.
• Add simple shapes for land and water.
• Draw Jesus beside the world with open arms.
• Write: “Jesus Came to Save the World.”

Talk about how Jesus loves people everywhere.

Write or Discuss:

1. Why did Jesus come to the world?
2. What does it mean that Jesus saves us?
3. How does it make you feel to know Jesus came for you?

Share the Good News Challenge

Today, tell someone one thing you learned about Jesus:

• Jesus loves everyone
• Jesus came to save us
• Jesus wants us close to God

Remember: the good news about Jesus is for everyone.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine Jesus standing beside a beautiful world, holding it gently in His hands.

Now imagine Him looking at you with love.

Hear Him say:

“I came for you.”

Sit quietly and thank Jesus for His love and salvation.
