Jesus Forgives

📖 Bible Verse

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Sometimes we make wrong choices. We may say unkind words or do things we wish we had not done. 

When this happens, we might feel sad or worried.

Jesus understands. When we come to Him and say sorry, He forgives us. He does not hold our mistakes against us. 

Jesus forgives with love and gives us a fresh start. Because Jesus forgives us, we can forgive others, too.

💡 Lesson

Jesus forgives you when you are sorry.

His love is bigger than your mistakes.

Forgiveness helps our hearts feel clean and free.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for forgiving me.

I am sorry for the wrong things I have done.

Help me make good choices and forgive others too.

Amen.

Draw a heart on paper.

Talk about how Jesus fills our hearts with love when He forgives us.

Say together: “Jesus forgives me.”

Think about a time you made a mistake.

How does it feel to know Jesus forgives you?

Write or say one way you can show forgiveness to someone else.

Today, forgive someone who has hurt or upset you.

You can pray and ask Jesus to help you let go of anger and choose love.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Sit quietly and take a deep breath.

Imagine Jesus smiling kindly at you and saying, “I forgive you.”

Rest in His love and peace.
