Jesus Is God’s Son

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” — Matthew 3:17

Jesus is very special. He is God’s Son.

God sent Jesus to the world because He loves us so much. When Jesus lived on earth, He showed us what God is like - kind, loving, gentle, and full of grace.

When we learn about Jesus, we are learning about God. Jesus helps us know God better and feel close to Him.

Jesus came from heaven to bring us close to God again.

When you know Jesus, you know God—because Jesus is God’s Son and He loves you deeply.

• How does it make you feel to know that God sent His Son for you?

Look at the sky or something beautiful around you.

Say quietly, “Thank You, God, for sending Jesus.”

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for sending Jesus, Your Son.

Thank You because Jesus loves me and helps me know You.

I want to learn more about Jesus every day.

Imagine Jesus smiling at you.

Sit quietly with Him for a few moments and feel His love.
