Jesus is My Example

For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps — 1 Peter 2:21

🕊️ Story / Reflection:

Have you ever played a game of “Follow the Leader”?
Whatever the leader does, you do too!
If they jump, you jump.
If they clap, you clap. 

Did you know the best leader to follow is Jesus? Jesus was kind, loving, humble, and obedient to God.
He helped others, told the truth, forgave people, and showed compassion.
He never did wrong.
He showed us how to live! Being a Christian means following in Jesus’ footsteps every day.
When we don’t know what to do, we can ask:
👉 “What would Jesus do?”

💡 Lesson:
Jesus is my perfect example. I will follow His ways in how I think, speak, and act.

🙏 Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for showing me how to live.
Help me to follow Your example of love, kindness, and obedience.
Teach me to walk in Your footsteps every day.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Trace your feet on paper and write “Follow Jesus” inside them.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write one way Jesus treated others and how you can do the same today.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Think of a situation where it’s hard to do the right thing. Ask yourself, “What would Jesus do?” Then do it!

When we follow Him, we walk in the best path!
