Jesus is Patient With Me

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.” — Psalm 103:8

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Sometimes we make mistakes. Sometimes we are slow to learn, forget instructions, or do the wrong thing even when we know better. When that happens, we might feel ashamed or afraid of being corrected. When this happens, Jesus does not get angry or give up on us.

Jesus is patient. He waits for us, teaches us again, and helps us grow. 

Just like a loving teacher or parent, Jesus understands that learning takes time. He loves us while we learn.

Every day, Jesus shows patience and kindness toward us. 

Even when we fall, Jesus waits for us with love, ready to help us try again.

💡 Lesson

Jesus is patient with you.

He gives you time to learn and grow.

You can be patient with yourself and with others too.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for being patient with me.

Thank You for loving me even when I make mistakes.

Help me learn and grow every day.

Amen.

Talk about how patience helps us do things well.

Say together: “Jesus is patient with me.”

What is something you are still learning and sometimes find hard? 

Write or say how knowing Jesus is patient with you makes you feel.

Write or say one way you can practice patience today.

Today, choose to be patient when something takes longer than you expect.

Pause, take a deep breath, and remember how patient Jesus is with you.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes for a minute. Take a deep breath. Imagine Jesus sitting beside you, smiling gently, saying, “I’m proud of you. Take your time. I’m here.”
