Jesus Is the Son of God

📖 Bible Verse
“And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.’” — Matthew 3:17

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Jesus is not just a good teacher or a kind person. Jesus is the Son of God.

When Jesus was baptised, God spoke from heaven and said, “This is My Son.”

Jesus came to earth because God loves us very much. 

He showed us how to live, how to love others, and how to follow God. 

Because Jesus is the Son of God, He has power, wisdom, and perfect love.

Jesus knows us, cares for us, and wants us to be close to Him. When we believe in Jesus, we become part of God’s family too.

💡 Lesson

Jesus is the Son of God, and He loves me very much.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for being the Son of God.

Thank You for loving me and showing me how to live.

Help me to follow You every day.

Amen.

• Make a simple paper crown.
• Write: “Jesus Is God’s Son” on the crown.
• Decorate it with stars, hearts, and bright colours.

1. Who is Jesus?
2. What did God say about Jesus?
3. Why is it important that Jesus is the Son of God?

Today, think of one way you can follow Jesus:

• Show kindness
• Obey quickly
• Pray
• Help someone

Remember: Jesus shows us how to live.

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine Jesus standing beside you with a warm smile.

Hear God say:

“This is My Son, whom I love.”

Remember that Jesus loves you and wants you close to Him.

Sit quietly and thank Him for who He is.
