🕊️ Story / Reflection
Joseph’s brothers had treated him very badly when he was younger. They were jealous of him because of His dreams and sold him far away from home.
Many years later, Joseph became a leader in Egypt.
One day, his brothers came to Egypt needing food because there was a famine in the land. Joseph had the power to punish them. But instead of choosing revenge, Joseph chose forgiveness.
He showed kindness to his brothers and cared for them.
Joseph understood that God had been with him through every difficult moment, and he chose love instead of bitterness.
Forgiveness does not mean pretending something wrong never happened. It means choosing not to hold anger in our hearts.
Sometimes forgiveness can be hard, but God helps us forgive just like He forgives us.
