Joseph’s Dreams

📖 Bible Verse
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to give you hope and a future.” — Book of Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Joseph was a young boy who had special dreams from God.

In the dreams, God showed Joseph that one day he would become a leader. 

But Joseph’s journey was not easy. His brothers became jealous of him. He was treated unfairly, sold away from home, and faced many difficult situations.

At times, it may have looked like God’s plan had failed. But God was still working. 

Step by step, God guided Joseph’s life. 

In the end, Joseph became a powerful leader in Egypt and helped save many people during a famine.

Joseph learned that even hard moments can be part of God’s bigger plan. 

Sometimes we may not understand what is happening in our lives, but we can trust that God sees the whole picture. 

God has a good plan for each of us.

God has a plan for my life, even when things are hard.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for having a good plan for my life.

Help me to trust You, even when I do not understand everything.

Guide me step by step like You guided Joseph.

Amen.

“Dream Stars” Craft

• Cut out paper stars.
• Write or draw good things God helps us do.
• Hang the stars up as reminders that God has a plan.

Say: “God has a good plan for me!”

Write or Discuss:

1. What dreams did Joseph have?
2. Did Joseph’s life always seem easy?
3. How did God still work through Joseph’s hard times?
4. Why can we trust God’s plan for our lives?

Encourage children to understand that God is always working, even during difficult moments.

Imagine looking up at a sky full of bright stars. 

Each star reminds you that God sees your future and has a beautiful plan for your life. 

Now see Jesus standing beside you, smiling gently.Hear Him say:
“Trust Me — I am guiding your story.”

Sit quietly and rest in His loving plan for you.
