đź“– Bible Verse:
“To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction.” — Proverbs 12:1

🕊️ Story / Reflection

No one likes to be corrected, but sometimes it’s the best way to learn and grow! Imagine you’re learning to ride a bike, and your mom or dad tells you, “Keep your balance!” or “Look ahead!” They’re not scolding you, they’re helping you get better. In the same way, when our parents, teachers, or even God correct us, it’s because they love us and want us to grow wiser.

Listening to corrections helps us avoid mistakes and make better choices in the future.
Wise kids don’t get angry when corrected. They pause, listen, and learn. That’s how we grow in wisdom and become more like Jesus!

đź’ˇ Lesson:
When I listen to correction, I grow wiser and stronger in character.

🙏 Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for loving me enough to correct me.
Help me to listen and learn when others guide me, so I can become wise and make You proud.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a happy face that listens when someone gives advice and a sad face that doesn’t.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Think of one time you were corrected, and it helped you improve. Write or talk about what you learned.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
The next time someone corrects you, pause before reacting. Say, “Thank you,” and think about what you can learn from it.

🌸 Closing Thought:
Correction isn’t to hurt us. It helps us grow wiser. When we listen with a humble heart, we become the kind of kids God smiles upon.
