Love means action

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — John 3:18 (NIV)

🕊️ Story / Reflection

It is easy to say, “I love you.”

But real love is not just about words — it is about what we do.

Jesus showed us what true love looks like.

He helped people, healed the sick, fed the hungry, and cared for those who were hurting. Most of all, Jesus showed love by giving His life for us. 

Jesus didn’t just say He loved people — He showed it through His actions. That means we can do the same. 

When we help someone, share what we have, forgive others, and show kindness, we are putting love into action.

Love is something people should be able to see, not just hear.

💡 Lesson

Love is not just words — love is shown by what I do.

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for showing me what love looks like.

Help me to show love through my actions.

Teach me to be kind, helpful, and caring every day.

Amen.

Today, show love by doing something kind:

• Help someone without being asked
• Share something you have
• Encourage someone
• Forgive someone

Remember: your actions can show God’s love.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine Jesus helping people, smiling, and showing kindness.

Now imagine yourself doing the same.

Hear Him say:

“Show My love through what you do.”

Sit quietly and ask Him to help you live it out.
