📖 Bible Verse:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

🕊️ Story / Reflection

When you truly love someone, you want to make them happy, right? That’s how it is with Jesus, too! When we love Him, we show it not just by saying “I love You,” but by doing what He says.
Jesus taught His friends to love one another, forgive, tell the truth, and be kind. Every time we obey His words, we show Him how much we love and trust Him.
Obedience isn’t about following rules to earn love, it’s about responding to the love Jesus already gave us.
Even when it’s hard, choosing to obey brings joy to God’s heart and helps us grow closer to Him.

💡 Lesson:
Obedience is how I show Jesus that I love Him with all my heart.

🙏 Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for loving me first.
Help me to show my love for You by obeying Your words,
even when it’s not easy.
I want my actions to make You smile.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a big heart and write “I love Jesus” inside it. Around the heart, draw ways you can obey Him — like helping, sharing, or praying.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write one thing Jesus asks us to do (like forgive or be kind). How can you obey that today?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Think about an area where you find it hard to obey — maybe listening to your parents or forgiving someone. Ask God to help you obey with love, not just duty.

🌸 Closing Thought:
True love for Jesus shines through obedience. When you obey His Word, your actions say, “Jesus, I love You.”
