📖 Bible Verse
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.’” — Gospel of Matthew 6:9

🕊️ Story / Reflection
When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, the very first words He used were “Our Father.”
Jesus wanted us to understand something very important — God is a loving Father.
A good father cares for his children. He listens to them, protects them, teaches them, and wants the best for them.
In the same way, God loves and cares for us even more.
When we pray, we are not talking to someone far away or uninterested. We are talking to a Father who knows us, loves us, and wants to hear from us.
Calling God “Our Father” reminds us that we belong to Him, and we are part of His family.
💡 Lesson
God is my loving Father, and I can come to Him with confidence.
🙏 Prayer
Dear Father God,
Thank You for loving me and caring for me.
Thank You that I belong to You and can always come to You in prayer.
Help me trust Your love and guidance every day.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)
Draw a big heart.
Inside the heart, draw yourself and write:
“I am part of God’s family.” You can also add simple stick figures of family members and label the top: “Our Father.”
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)
Discuss or write:
  1. What are some things a loving father does for his children?
  2. How does it feel to know God is your Father?
  3. What is something you want to thank your Heavenly Father for today?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)
Today, bring one worry or problem to God in prayer. Say:
“Father God, I trust You with this.”
Write it down and remember that a loving Father cares for His children.
🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment
Close your eyes and take a slow breath.
Imagine Jesus sitting beside you and gently saying the words:
“Our Father in heaven…”
Picture God as a loving Father welcoming you into His presence.
Sit quietly and feel His love and care.
