πŸ“– Bible Verse
β€œPray continually.” β€” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

πŸ•ŠοΈ Story / Reflection

Prayer is not something we only do once in a while.

Prayer can be part of our everyday life. You can talk to God in the morning when you wake up.

You can talk to Him before school.

You can talk to Him when you are playing, worried, happy, or getting ready for bed.

God wants prayer to be a daily conversation with Him.

Just like you talk to your family and friends every day, you can talk to God every day too.

You do not need fancy words. You can simply tell God what you are thinking and feeling.

The more you talk to God, the closer you grow to Him.

πŸ’‘ Lesson

Prayer is something I can do every day because God always wants to hear from me.

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You that I can talk to You every day.

Help me remember to pray in the morning, during the day, and at night.

Thank You for always listening to me.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)

  • Draw a simple chart with morning, afternoon, and bedtime.
  • Draw a small picture of yourself praying at each time.
  • Talk about how we can pray throughout the day.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Write or Discuss:

  1. When do you usually pray?
  2. What are some times during the day you can talk to God?
  3. How does it feel to know God is always listening?

πŸ•―οΈ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

Today, choose three times during the day to stop and pray:

  • Morning
  • Afternoon
  • Before bed

Notice how it feels to talk to God throughout the day.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Imagine walking beside Jesus through your day β€” waking up, eating, learning, playing, and resting.

See yourself talking to Him all along the way.

Whisper softly:

β€œJesus, I want to talk with You every day.”

Sit quietly and enjoy being with Him
