📖 Bible Verse
“I remember you in my prayers night and day.” — 2 Timothy 1:3b

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Did you know that prayer is not only for yourself?

You can also pray for other people — your family and your friends.

Maybe your friend is feeling sad…

Maybe someone in your family needs help…

Maybe you just want to thank God for them…

When you pray for others, it shows love and care. It is like giving them a special gift — a prayer from your heart.

Even if they don’t know you are praying for them, God knows, and He listens.

Just like the apostle Paul prayed for others often, we too can remember the people in our lives and bring them before God.

Your prayers can bring comfort, help, and blessings to the people you love.

💡 Lesson

I can show love by praying for my family and friends.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for my family and friends.

Please watch over them, help them, and keep them safe.

Bless them and fill their hearts with joy and peace.

Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6)

  • Draw your family and friends.
  • As you point to each person, say a short prayer for them.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9)

Write or Discuss:

  1. Who are some people you can pray for?
  2. What would you like God to do for them?
  3. How does it feel to pray for others?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)

  • Write down 3–5 people (family or friends).
  • Pray for each person today.
  • Try to pray for them every day this week.

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Close your eyes and take a slow breath.

Think of someone you love.

Imagine placing them gently in Jesus’ hands.

Watch Him smile and care for them.

Sit quietly, knowing Jesus is taking care of them.
