📖 Bible Verse
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

🕊️ Story / Reflection

Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. We may say something hurtful, disobey, act selfishly, or make a wrong choice. When that happens, God wants us to be honest and humble enough to say, “I’m sorry.”

Saying sorry is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of good character and a soft heart. Sometimes apologising can feel difficult because pride makes us want to hide our mistakes or blame others. But God is pleased when we admit when we are wrong.

Jesus teaches us to forgive others, and He also teaches us to ask for forgiveness when we hurt someone.

A sincere apology can help heal broken friendships, restore peace, and show love.

When we say sorry with honesty and kindness, we become more like Jesus.

💡 Lesson

Saying sorry when I’m wrong shows humility and love.

🙏 Prayer

Dear God,

Help me admit when I am wrong.

Teach me to say sorry sincerely and ask for forgiveness with humility.

Help me forgive others too, just as You forgive me.

Make my heart soft, loving, and honest.

Amen.

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12)Humility Challenge

This week:

  • Admit mistakes honestly
  • Apologise quickly when you hurt someone
  • Practice forgiving others sincerely

Before sleeping each night, ask yourself: “Did I make peace with others today?”

🌿 Sit with Jesus Moment

Sit quietly and place your hand over your heart.

Think about a time you may have hurt someone with your words or actions.

Now softly say:“Jesus, help me have a humble and loving heart.”

Pause quietly for a moment.

If needed, think about someone you may need to apologise to.

Rest peacefully and remember that God helps us grow through honesty, humility, and forgiveness.
