Friends are people we laugh with, learn with, and share our days with.
They may be classmates, neighbours, church friends, or people we see often.
God places friends and caring people in our lives to help us feel loved and supported.
Community means the people around us who help us grow and stay safe.
Teachers, coaches, church leaders, and helpers are all part of our community.
God uses these people to show us kindness and care.
When we thank God for friends and community, we remember that we are not alone. God surrounds us with people who care.
God gives me friends and community to love and support me.
Dear God,
Thank You for my friends.
Thank You for the people who help and care for me.
Help me to be a kind and loving friend to others.
Amen.
Name one friend.
Practice smiling and waving, saying:
โThank You, God, for my friends.โ
Think and answer:
Do one kind thing for a friend or someone in your community todayโshare, help, encourage, or pray for them.
Close your eyes and think about your friends.
Thank Jesus for each one.
Ask Him to help you be a loving friend.
