🕊️ Story / Reflection:
Every morning before school, David sat quietly on his bed and said, “Good morning, Jesus.” Sometimes he would read his Bible, other times he would just talk to God about his day. One day, he rushed and forgot to spend time with Jesus. At school, he felt easily upset and worried. The next day, he remembered to sit with Jesus first — and his heart felt calm and strong again. David learned something important:
The best place to be is close to Jesus.
Not just on Sundays, but every day!
When we listen to Him, wait for Him, and spend time with Him, He fills our hearts with peace, wisdom, and joy.
💡 Lesson:
Being close to Jesus every day is the best place I can be. When I listen to Him, He guides and blesses me.
🙏 Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for always being near.
Help me to sit with You every day,
listen to Your voice, and choose the best place to be — close to You.
Amen.
🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a picture of yourself sitting with Jesus — maybe talking, reading, or smiling together.
✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write one way you can spend time with Jesus each day (praying, reading the Bible, singing, listening).
🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Take 5 quiet minutes today to sit with Jesus. No talking — just listen in your heart. Ask Him to guide you.
🌸 Closing Thought:
The best place is not a park, a game, or even a friend’s house — the best place is always with Jesus.
