🕊️ Story / Reflection
God gave us mouths for many wonderful things:
Our words are powerful. They can build people up like strong blocks making a beautiful house, or they can tear people down like knocking blocks over.
Sometimes people use hurtful words:
Those words can hurt hearts deeply. But God wants our mouths to bring healing, kindness, peace, and encouragement.
Jesus always used His words to help people, teach truth, comfort the hurting, and bring hope. Before we speak, we can ask ourselves:
When we choose loving and wise words, we reflect the heart of Jesus.
💡 Lesson
My words should build others up, not tear them down.
🙏 Prayer
Dear God,
Help me use my mouth for kindness and encouragement.
Teach me to speak words that help, heal, and build others up.
Guard my tongue from hurtful words.
Let my speech reflect the love of Jesus.
Amen.

Pause quietly for a moment.
Think about one person you can encourage today with your words.
