📖 Bible Verse:
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” — Proverbs 3:7

🕊️ Story / Reflection:

Chidi wanted to join his friends in a new game at school. But the game involved saying unkind things about other people. Everyone else was doing it… and he didn’t want to feel left out. Before joining, he stopped and remembered something his teacher said:
“Wise kids talk to God before making choices.” So Chidi prayed in his heart,
“God, should I do this?”
Right away, he felt uncomfortable inside.
He knew God was saying, “No. ”Chidi walked away. Later, his friends got into trouble for the game… but he was safe.
He was glad he asked God first! Wise kids don’t just do what everyone else is doing.
They don’t just follow their feelings.
They ask God first — because God always knows what is best.

💡 Lesson:
When I ask God first, He helps me make the right decision. That is true wisdom!

🙏 Prayer:
Dear God,
Help me remember to ask You before I make choices.
Thank You for leading me and keeping me safe.
I want to be wise and follow You always.
Amen.

🎨 Activity (Ages 3–6):
Draw a picture of yourself praying before doing something.

✏️ Reflection (Ages 7–9):
Write one decision you may need to make soon. How can you ask God about it first?

🕯️ Challenge (Ages 10–12):
Today, before you make ANY decision (what to say, what to do, how to react), pause and say:
“God, what should I do?”
Then follow His peace.

🌸 Closing Thought:
Smart kids think.
Good kids try.
Wise kids ask God first.
